MARCH & APRIL 2026 - CLA SOCIO-CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Speed up the development of your language skills by participating in the Socio-Cultural Activities program and have a great time while doing it.

March 03. – Zagreb Botanical Garden

Our first socio-cultural outing takes us to the Zagreb Botanical Garden, a peaceful green oasis in the heart of the city and part of the Faculty of Science of the University of Zagreb. Founded in 1889, the garden offers a relaxing space to stroll among beautiful plants, winding paths, and small ponds while enjoying nature right in the center of Zagreb. It’s the perfect opportunity to take a break from the classroom, spend time outdoors, and enjoy the city from a slightly different perspective

Join us for a fun rakija workshop where we’ll discover one of Croatia’s most famous traditions. Often called the “nectar of the gods” by the locals, rakija is more than just a drink—it’s an important part of Croatian culture and social life, served to welcome guests, celebrate special moments, or simply enjoy good company. During the workshop, we’ll learn about the history and different varieties of this traditional spirit, explore its many uses, and of course taste a few flavors before voting for our favorite.
