We’re taking you for a visit to the newly renovated Croatian Natural History Museum. After a full restoration last year, the museum now offers refreshed exhibitions, updated displays, and a vibrant new look that makes exploring its collections genuinely enjoyable.
Located in one of Zagreb’s most charming historical areas, the museum is housed in the Amadeo Palace in the Upper Town. It is home to over 2 million artifacts, making it one of the key institutions preserving and showcasing Croatia’s rich natural heritage. During our visit, we will have a guided tour in English, giving you a clear and engaging introduction to the collections and the stories behind them.
It’s the perfect midday break: a bit of learning, a bit of curiosity, and a relaxed walk through a beautifully restored museum in the company of fellow participants.
Anyone currently learning Croatian at CLA can participate free of charge.
Additional individual costs like admission tickets, food or drinks need to be covered by each student individually.
Even though student participation in the activities is free, it is mandatory that you sign up at least a day in advance.
Inform your professor if you want to participate, and they will add you to the list.
