Join us for our Christmas in Croatia Workshop, a cozy and cheerful introduction to the way the holiday season is celebrated across the country. We’ll explore beloved traditions and stories behind them, discover how they differ from region to region, and uncover a few festive quirks that make a Croatian Christmas wonderfully unique — the kind of things that don’t always show up in textbooks but definitely show up in December.
And yes, there will be homemade Christmas treats, because a workshop without something sweet just feels like a meeting. We’ll enjoy a few classic seasonal bites as we chat, learn, and create. Come along for a pleasant, lighthearted morning of Croatian holiday charm — with just the right amount of sparkle.
Who can participate in CLA Socio-Cultural Activities?
Anyone currently learning Croatian at CLA can participate free of charge.
Is everything free of charge?
Additional individual costs like admission tickets, food or drinks need to be covered by each student individually.
Do I need to sign up for an activity?
Even though student participation in the activities is free, it is mandatory that you sign up at least a day in advance.
How do I sign up?
Inform your professor if you want to participate, and they will add you to the list.
