This Wednesday, we are talking romance! Valentine’s day holds a very special place in Croatian tradition. Come 14 February, people all over Croatia try to impress their loved ones, friends or partners with kind words and beautiful gifts. As a language with a very specific vocabulary, Croatian has a quite a special way of expressing love and affection. Join us in this themed workshop where you will learn about history of Valentine’s day in Croatia as well as learn how to compliment and show love to people around you the right way – the Croatian way!
Who can participate in CLA Socio-Cultural Activities?
Anyone currently learning Croatian at CLA can participate free of charge.
Is everything free of charge?
Additional individual costs like admission tickets, food or drinks need to be covered by each student individually.
Do I need to sign up for an activity?
Even though student participation in the activities is free, it is mandatory that you sign up at least a day in advance.
How do I sign up?
Inform your professor if you want to participate, and they will add you to the list.
