June 24. – Sip, Socialize and Explore Croatian Culture: Summer evening at Zagreb’s wine festival
Join us for a summer evening at Vinski grad (Wine City), one of Zagreb’s most popular outdoor festivals. Located on Tuđmanac Square next to the Croatian Language Academy, this event brings together Croatian wine, culture, music, and gastronomy in a relaxed atmosphere. It is a great opportunity to experience Zagreb’s summer spirit, discover local traditions, and enjoy an evening with fellow participants from our Croatian language courses.

July 15. – Croatian State Archives
Join us for a guided visit to the Croatian State Archives, one of Zagreb’s most impressive Art Nouveau landmarks. Originally built in 1913 as the National and University Library, the building is renowned for its stunning architecture, elegant interiors, and rich artistic details, offering a fascinating glimpse into Croatia’s cultural and historical heritage. After the visit, we will continue our afternoon at Botaničar Café, a charming cultural café near the Botanical Garden, where participants can relax and socialize over a drink.
Who can participate in CLA Socio-Cultural Activities?
Anyone currently learning Croatian at CLA can participate free of charge.
Is everything free of charge?
Additional individual costs like admission tickets, food or drinks need to be covered by each student individually.
Do I need to sign up for an activity?
Even though student participation in the activities is free, it is mandatory that you sign up at least a day in advance.
How do I sign up?
Inform your professor if you want to participate, and they will add you to the list.
